The 46 is a bit lighter as the piston is shorter. the m has more fps. Also a slightly longer sight radius.

For 10M there is no practical difference other than weight. Both are excellent values. You can often find one new for $220 since the imported has (had?) a deal for clubs to get a bunch at that price.

Dover:

From my point of view, the 46M is better for that has more speed.
The top German air pistols shoot at 500 FPS (feets per second), the 46M at 470 and doesn't leave a clean hole in most targets, the izh46 leaves ripped.
Buy the IZH46M.

I build custom grips for the IZH-46 and 46M. I have had customers greatly improve accuracy and overall better ownership satisfaction with these moderately priced pistols.

May be your pellets. It isnt the gun!

My IZH 46M shoots between 425 and 435 fps and leaves very clean holes.

My Morini is slowed down to about 450 fps and it leaves clean holes.

I use JSB Pistol Match.
