Hi all,

Firstly, been lurking a while, scouring your archives, brilliant stuff....well done to you all.

I'm based in the rep. of Ireland.
We're just getting pistols back here now after a 32 year ban.
Pistol clubs are trying to get off the ground around the country but there isn't too much info available on pistols, disciplines etc.

I've purchased a FWB AW93 after a little bit of research on the web.
Can anyone tell me what ISSF disciplines, if any, it can be used for.

Vinnie: Wecome back to shooting. The FWB can be used in Standard Pistol, Rapid Fire and Womans Sport Pistol. If may be used in Free Pistol provided you load one shot at a time. Greg

It's difficult to pick a pistol here when none of the dealers are allowed to stock them....and nobody has any experience with them....

Welcome back Vinnie. What pushed the government to change after a 32 year (COMPLETE?) ban? Maybe we could use the insight in Chicago and New York. They're independent enough.
