Steyr LG100 Opinions Please (esp. vs. P70)

I am looking for a 10m rifle (not competition shooting, really for personal enjoyment/improvement).
I have always liked the LG100. I think it is mostly for it's ability to be "taken down" for storage. I am also looking at the P70 (I am referring to the wood stocked P70).
It seems both the LG100 and P70 are being phased out and good deals can be had on both at the moment.
I know they are both good rilfes, and personal preference is probably the major deciding factor, but I was just looking for any opinions anyone is willing to share, good or bad for either (i.e. I heard dry-firing is more complex with the P70).
Any opinions appreciated!
Thank you!

I don't know anything at all about the steyr other than what I see of it in pictures and what I don't see of it in use. I have never seen one in 10m competition. I have never been to a big match but locally I see all anschutz's, FWB's and a few Walthers. The P70 on the other hand has built a great reputation based on performance. It is very reliable and generally an excellent 10m rifle. I think the new crop of rifles will be a while earning a reputation as good as the P70's. For the general plinker the p70 has the downfall that it is a real pain it the rear to put a scope on. There are ways but still it is not nearly as some of the other rifles. I mostly shoot 10m but I do enjoy occasionalally slaying a few bugs with my air rifle. The Ans 2002 is pretty easily scopeable but the P70's (I have both) not so.

PDeal, thank you very much for the opinion. Strange that there aren't many Steyrs out there. I wonder if there is a clear reason why.
I am not very worried about scope use however, because I have plenty of sporters, and I am looking pretty much for a straight 10m style paper puncher (open sight).
Thanks again!
