Can't get my trigger back far enough.
What are the options for a replacement/modification?
Looks like the Steyr LP with the fixed blade would probably be a straight swap and be able to go back another 5 mm or so.
Any other suggestions before I place the order?

The Feinwerkbau triggers will work, although it may take a little bit of filing for clearance at the attachment point. If you can get one of the older straight post ones, it will definitely bring the trigger reach back. The older Steyr fixed blade trigger may not be much of an improvement.

I tend to agree with Fred re. the Steyr triggers. I had the fixed type one on my LP5 and swapped it last year for the adjustable one. There certainly wasn't much, if any, difference with regards trigger finger position.

you can file or grind most of the old style Steyr trigger back, leaving jsut enough of the allen slot to to tighten it.

An update if anyone is interested.

With the help of a friend, found the LP1/LP50 trigger blade fits wth no mods needed.
It moves the forward face of the trigger to the rear by just over 5 mm.

Thanks for the replys.
