FWIW I use a pair of plano safety glasses to which I have the left side of clip-on sunglasses attached. The lens of the sunglasses has been obscured with tape. This works for me. As been noted here many times, mileage may vary. At least this was inexpensive and seems to do the trick. It's worth trying to guage the benefit. CraigE

There are many different specialist frame manufacturers. Any of them, together with numerous home-made solutions, will enable you to block your left eye.

Remember that if you want to shoot competitions under ISSF rules the non-aiming eye blinder can only be a maximum of 30mm wide.

... shooting glasses helps me. Meantime blocking my left eye... it improves image's contrast in my right eye, using iris diaphragm. Unfortunately, we train here in indoor shooting range with ugly lighting.

Advice: don't use black (or dark color at all) to block eye... use mat-white (use a piece of plastic cutted off from shampoo bottle for example...)

I currently use Uvex safety glasses with a strip of opaque scotch tape obscuring my no firing eye. Try different glasses if you can. Not all glasses are created equal. Even the same brands. The glasses I use are the best safety glasses I have ever used. I forget I am wearing them after while. My current employer provides the same brand but a different model and they are definately not the same. I would like to try sme high end galsses to see if they are worth the price.
