How to Zero the IZH-46M

Dear Friends,

I want to hear some tips, advice or secrets in getting the IZH-46M Zeroed..... i am having problems with mine... Did you use a Vise or Something like that?

That's useful information but not perhaps pertinent to the original question.

The simple answer is no don't use a vice. Depending on your group size I would suggest shooting a number of shots (say 5 - 10) and see whereabouts the midpoint is, don't forget to keep your point of aim and sight picture the same. Adjust your sights accordingly, as indicated in the manual. You may need to repeat until you find it pretty much centered. Then just shoot the gun.

The previous posters note was really emphasising the need to continually adjust the sights. You will find that light conditions, your eyesight / level of tiredness or strain etc will all affect where your shots go. Again once you have set the sights don't worry about moving them throughout a course of fire and depending on your scores and proficiency you may feel the urge to adjust them after a single shot and I would urge you to just do it - a click is a very small amount in reality. The very worst thing you can do is to leave the sights alone because the gun is 'zeroed in' (IMHO).
