Are you the same William with a bunch of useful posts about a Vulcan cannon?
[/quote]
If you hadn't noticed: The Vulcan posts, mine and I'm pretty sure everybody else's, were attempts at humor (with varying degrees of success). Or do you believe somebody here is really selling one? If that's the case, this may refresh your memory.

OK How about a REAL one for sale, out of stock, but REALLY cool

As long as we are being silly about miniguns, how about a rubber band firing version:

I did order the Walther AP20 on eBay. Should be a good first step. Definitely can't complain about the price after my gift cards / coupons.

Coming soon to a dealer near you:

"Due to Government legislation (please see the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 Pt2 section 31-34) we can not deliver Air Weapons or Air Weapon parts (including Silencers/Moderators) direct to you for free (These have to be purchased in a face to face transaction) so there are three options if you would like to order this item from us, with each you MUST be able to present two valid forms of I.d. outlined at the bottom of the page."

krale.shop carries many Artemis products.

email them to see if Krale.shop carry this new PP20.

shipping is quick and reasonable if they have it.

Looks like a good, very good pistol. Snow Peak is a former Walther/Chinese coop corporation. You can probably interchange parts of this pistol with Walther parts. Very good price, if Krale carries it.

The Artemis PP20, - some slight similarities to the Steyr LP 10? No? Made in China, I believe, a budget "copy". What to expect about the build quality?
No unbiased reviews available yet, but if may turn out to be a reliable gun, it may become an alternative to the IZZY 46 (the plinker/clunker..). The PP 20 weights 1100 grams, some more than the top match AP at present. But significantly less than the IZZY 46 M, which weights 2,86 lbs, a hefty 1300 grams.

As ugly is it gets.

Your IZH weights are a little off. Here's the results for two I actually put on the scales:

IZH-46 1090gr
IZH-46M 1170gr

And the new Air Venturi version:

AV-46M 1150g

Hey, man, I´m just refering to weights given at websites, as I do not own, and never will own, an Izzy 46.
A fancy red-laminated wood grip- does it make an ugly gun any better ? No.

This gun really is clumpsy, ungainly, and ugly. A clunker.

Hey, man.

You must not have played with IZH 46M. It is a well designed, engineered, a force de resistance amongst aficionados. I had many years of fun with it. If you can shoot well with it, you can shoot well with any air pistol. A very robust, manly, pistol.

IF you read your cited review, it gave IZH 46M one of their highest award and praise.

But, but... it won't make you more attractive to the girls.

Seriously, if you're not a near-invalid, there's nothing wrong with the Izh. It's much like a T34, you know, the tank that won the war. Typically Russian - designed for a specific task, crude where it doesn't matter (like looks) and among the best in the world where it does.

Like a T34 : )

What an apt analogy ! Even the Germans agree that was the best in the world.

I only know of one person in the UK who has bought one. It's been returned twice due to regulator issues

I would think that if anyone were to carry this pistol online here in the US it would be Pyramid Air. Not yet, however.

Another Artemis air pistol, the PP800, looks like one marketed under the Diana brand here in the US. Is that the reality?

I just moved up to a Steyr evo 10 compact after shooting my starter AP20 Pro for a year and just over 5000 trouble-free rounds. I love the evo, but highly recommend the AP20 Pro as a first 10-meter pistol.
