Hey Rover-sounds good.
Still have all those wonderful FWB model 65"s you showed me one time that looked like they were new in box. I never forgot them.
I like your offer-Maybe I should just get the elec. retrieval for $600
and shoot but just keep a spotting scope next to me. By the way I gave those polyester pants away.

More seriously. I leave Saturday for Ankara Turkey on business. Anybody know where I might pick pu a Hatsan in town. I would like it just as a souvenir.
The factory three times did not respond to e-mail.
Also any club to shoot at one evening?
Many thanks

I think it was JoeG (another Brooklyn guinea) that showed you the FWB 65 air pistols; I'm in Arizona.
If you MUST have a target retrieval system, there are plenty of the old hand-cranked ones floating around very cheaply. Run an ad.

Hard to know what to buy when you're just shooting in the dark. The Steyr had 2 benefits over the Morini when I bought mine. First, it was about $500 cheaper on the used market. That's mostly because (at the time I was looking) there seems to be 3 or 4 to 1 more Steyr AP's than Morini. And the second was that it Directly addressed the one issue/complaint I had with my prior AP ~ a full adjustable grip. A feature I'm Still in love with, even 3 years later (I had to make a slight adjustment today to account for a small change).
If I hadn't had prior experience, I wouldn't have known what I wanted either. If that's your situation, buy the Morini today. Before you buy the LP10E, look around at personal reviews ~ looks like most posts are talking about why they sold theirs, or favored the mechanical LP10, or the Morini to the LP10E.
And yes, sounds like you would have a great range. You could always buy one of the new Suis HS10 electronic targets (and if you get tired of it, let me know ~ I can only afford to buy 2nd hand. :D )
By the way I did buy the Morini
thanks for the input.

Not me; sure sounds like my buddy JoeG.
BTW Rover is what my name means in Italian and it's also my initials. AND I was born in Brooklyn, but I like this neighborhood, too.

Darn you Rover!
Now I told my wife we have to fly down there for the weekend again.
Never was in the Bronx little Italy but was at the other one.
When I was in Florence Italy-this is no lie but the truth.
The first Nine meals I had- morning, noon and night was Spaghetti E VonGole. Then Gelato ice cream all day long-everywhere. I think we are going there again this year-Maybe a week or two in Florence and then Rome.-Just hate that 10 hr flight over the ocean. We were in Rome when they won the world cup in soccer.
Everybody was off the streets and in the bars and anywhere where they could watch the game and when they won-the place went crazy.
men and women riding all around on their scooters topless.
Over 400,000 motorcycles registered in Rome alone and they park anywhere and the police don't bother them.
What a beautiful Place.

Loved Florence. Stayed at the Hotel Michelangelo. Had a great time in Italy, but we really like Spain. We're heading back in the Spring.
We'll either rent a moto or a convertible and hunt down neat places to eat.
