Tim S wrote "that a Kowa is not in the cards for some time". I can say its some of the best money I've spent lately. I was on my (50 yard) range today, and being Ohio in January, it was gloomy and blowing light snow. The view through that Kowa was amazing.

Jay,

I have friends with Kowas, and haven't heard a bad word about the brand. However, I already have a good, if more humble, 'scope that has served me well for many years. Only once was it defeated by very heavy mirage at Bisley. With young children, and having replaced my jacket last year £1,500+ for the Kowa is just unaffordable.

The scope that impressed me most was my former optician's Zeiss.

Tim,

Totally understand the predicament. This Kowa is just so nice compared to the GYAH I have been using for years, that I can’t help but say nice things about it!

Did you need to duck, or did that go over your head all on its own? :)

No.
The DS didn’t ask for my help!
