Was down with ( possible omicron ) viral.
Did not go out - did not have energy for the most part of the Dec.
Started with Office offsite.
I think am ok ish now - let's try.
Merry Christmas everyone.
I hope that you're feeling better now. A dear friend flew to LA from Hartford, CT for Christmas, wore a quality KN-95 mask the entire time and is now recovering from an Omicron variant infection. She was J&J vaccinated and boosted with Moderna. Her symptoms are relatively minor. She infected both her sister and sister's bf who she is staying with. Both vaccinated, but not boosted. Thankfully, they are only mildly symptomatic.
My cousin in Burlington VT is dealing with her physician husband who has a breakthrough Omicron infection. He is Pfizer vaccinated and boosted. He is mildly symptomatic. So far, he's infected two of his three children. All mildly symptomatic. All vaccinated. My cousin and one remaining child await the overall outcome in their family.
Stay as safe as possible. It ain't over by a long shot.

Thanks for the valuable information!
My cousin is now infected, too. She has lung issues that put her at increased risk. She's miserable, but doing better. Hopefully she will be ok at home isolating. The best advice I've seen do far is to isolate as much as possible until the third week in January and then reevaluate by looking at the positivity rate in one's area and your own personal risk factors.
Stop the World, please. I'd like to get off.......

Ok, let’s get it started. Let’s end this year with good scores. Thanks
Is this a postal match? Are there any rules?
Mostly just honor code, really. Shoot a competition or practice match and post your scores. Some, including me, count SCATT matches. If you better a previous score you can post again.
My best this month. I wish I could accomplish this at my club range. My scores there have been 15 points behind this, most lost on the first 20-30 shots.

In actual matches, you are allowed unlimited sighters (in time limit) plus dry fire. Use them wisely to "settle in" before shooting for record.

Oh, I do. I often take out the 9 ring, and then open with a pair of high, or low 7s.
I didn't used to care as much and could shoot in the 560s pretty consistently.
Its not a matter of age yet, just trying harder, too hard.

I totally agree with Rover on using time wisely, and I need to know the rules better. Right now I'm shooting matches that follow NRA rules. I have their rules ISSF, and I just downloaded the CMP rules.
I do have a question on the cylinder dates for pistols, I hear that compressed air has to be dated under 10 years, do the CO2 cylinders follow the same rules. I also don't know where to find this information for all the sanctioning bodies.
Thanks
Stan

Very few matches will give a damn about your cylinder dates. But, if it bothers you, buy a SSP.

Nah, it don't bother me I was curious why ya hear about it and can't find it in the rules. I shoot a M-65, but like shooting the LP-1, they're both very accurate.
Someone had mentioned that December would be held open until today, so I got this one in just in time. Equaled my personal best, but I'm pissed at myself because I could have beaten my personal best easily but my last group of five was horrible. I think I was just tired -- I really need to spend a lot of time in the coming months working on my endurance.
