Try a new seal at the end you have opened first.

Greased O ring seal to end cap and reassembeled. Still leaks out the very end.

10punkt9.de sells cylinders for many AP and AR, including the SAM. In fact, I got a couple from them for my SAM10. They only take payment via bank transfer (no credit cards or paypal) but they ship to the US.

I was contemplating ordering a FWB air cylinder from them since mine are 17 years old. If you want to piggyback an order to consolidate overseas shipping and bank transfer fees let me know. Prices listed are inclusive of 19% VAT, so divide listed prices by 1.19 (assuming vendor cooperates; some do, some don't).
Note that these are not factory cylinders. They do their own fabrication. The cylinders have sort of a rubberized exterior finish which actually helps for gripping the cylinder. They're available short and long lengths, if weight might be an issue for the juniors.
