Re: How Do you handle / deal with a Sore Shoulder or Arm ?

I'll add to the conversation Andrew.
I developed a sharp pain in my right shoulder (I'm right handed). Couldn't hold up my right hand in position to do FP or bullseye and couldn't bring my right elbow up for high power rifle.
I went to an orthopedic surgeon. An X-ray showed arthritis in the top of my right shoulder and tendonitis in the back of my right shoulder. He suggested Aleve twice a day for 2-weeks, no matter if the pain stopped or not. Then many trips to PT.
The Aleve did nothing.
PT did everything. After 2-months I was 80% better. But still not there after 3-months.
Now practicing FP and bullseye with my LEFT hand.
My suggestion, as echoed by others, stop....see a doc...do what he/she says. And remember, what we share from our experiences could actually hurt you, so see a doc yourself.
Good luck amigo!
