Hi folks sorry I haven't posted for a bit, thanks for all your reply's!
competition time is now here and I have been concentrating on that.

Rover yes a brain fart is right on the money I think!

I am still putting the gun down every two shots and this has had the biggest effect on my shooting, as I said I now abort the shot much quicker than I would have before.
I was at the first competition a couple of weeks ago, shot a 543 the first course of fire, then 541. it became apparent that I was pulling the trigger very badly that day, with a lot of low shots and low-left shots as well. I just scraped into the shoot off, and ended up coming fourth, but the flyers were really bad during it! I would shoot a ten point four, then a seven! bad trigger and bad nerves I think! still I'm not going to complain about fourth place, I was very pleased to get that judging by the way I shot!

I have not changed anything further, apart from really concentrating on my trigger pull. I have bought a new gun that fits me much better and I have seen a lot of improvement in my trigger work. I will do a review of the new gun (FWB P44) and a log as to how I am shooting with it! thanks for all your help, hopefully the flyers should now be cut down even less :)
