I bought the new Skanåker book a couple of days ago on iBooks. I haven't read much yet, but I have already been reminded of a couple of things a had forgotten to pay attention to. Also, I moved the trigger on my air pistol and it seems to work for me. I'm looking forward to learning more about free pistol since it's the discipline where I feel I have the most to learn.

I've set myself a goal for this year: I want to shoot at least one personal best in competition in 2016, and I believe free pistol is where I have the best chance of achieving that. Maybe Ragnar Skanåker can help? Time will show...

I bought and finished the E-book off Itunes. My last two shooting books were the MEC offerings.
I was hoping for a book more along the lines of the Pistol book from MEC and was thus a little bit disappointed. It just had the feel that it had been put out in a rush.

In the exercise section it gave some helpful ideas but no reference to number of sets or repetitions, here they are...go! I can make up my own programme but was hoping for more guidance from the master.

No mention of SCATT or other electric training devices.

The tactics section was interesting but all said and done it will not be my go to manual , that remains the position of MEC.

Hello all

I have a few new unread copies of the books for sale.
Master Competitive Pistol Shooting

Hard cover and high quality print.
I ask 20 USD + shipping (not sure at the moment what that will come to, ships from Sweden)
Using paypal, as that is cheapest as there will be no bank charges.

I am one of the editors of the book if anyone wonder.

Got kids a while back so had to cut down on shooting time so have not been so active in the forum lately.
But send me a PM if you are interested and I will get back to you.

I hope Im not violating any rules with this post.

My favorite pistol shooting book. Thanks a lot for writing it, translating it to English, and this deal. I already got my copy :)

Mathias,

Received my copy today from you, excellent reading, great value and shipped very fast, might even be better than my very old Hans Standl book, I'll see.

Thanks for the feedback.

Don't hesitate to pm me if you want a copy.

Just a note:
If you order two books (for a friend or as a gift perhaps), that second book only adds about 50% to the price.
Thats due to that I give a discount and the shipping fee is not doubled. Think about it :)

take care
