I am quite sure sure that Neal does not have more Steyr stuff than us. In fact Neal has sent us stuff here to repair. I will agree that across the span of shooting history Neal is more likely to have hard to find , unobtanium type things.

As to the official Steyr Negrini case, when we buy the whole gun it is considered a package of an air pistol that costs 4% duty. If we order the Negrini case seperate, then duty for them is like 60% percent which causes us to have price them over a $100 which no one will pay. We tell people go to the box store of their choice, and buy a camera case. Huge amount if size choices and much cheaper prices.

Also the reason Neal is not listed as a dealer is because he is not an official Steyr dealer. His Steyrs are grey market guns, which basically means you have no US warranty unless I take pity on you. But it's rare to need the warranty anyway since they have so few problems.

OUCH! Now THAT is a useful piece of info. That's absurd, but customs can be like that. It all depends on what category they fall under, and "gun cases" must be a nasty one.

I never thought about the grey market factor...

The one thing I do know is that he always have inventory that just happened to be the more absurd ones.

Thanks for the info Scott.
