The grips indeed look charming and sexy, but I would be surprised if they were permissible under current ISSF rules.tuj wrote:Dick Horton grips.

Not for ISSF, but perfectly acceptable under the NRA conventional pistol rules.Alexander wrote:The grips indeed look charming and sexy, but I would be surprised if they were permissible under current ISSF rules.tuj wrote:Dick Horton grips.

There isn't one yet. The pistols are not in full production as yet.Eaglemitch wrote:Does anyone know what the MSRP (Price) is?
As much as I wish it were otherwise, its presence on the Baikal website is no indication that any have actually been made recently or that they are available. Russian websites often show firearms which are impossible to obtain. Their presence sometimes seems to mean that "we could make this....if we wanted to...but we're still thinking about it..."joe1347 wrote:If anyone is curious, I just noticed that Baikal is now listing the MP-438 on their web page. I don't believe they were 6 months ago when the thread was last active.
Now if someone in the USA will start carrying it!
Any idea what they sold for?Leon wrote:A shipment of MP-438s has already arrived in Australia. Alas, they have all been sold.
They do have a slide hold open device.william wrote:Thank you for the images, Igor. 2 things seem noteworthy:
1. No slide hold-open device.
2. The lower pic looks very much like they have retained the grip safety from the Izh35 series. That would make it legal for USA import if anybody wants to become the US agent.
I wonder what their annual production will be - dozens, hundreds, thousands?
