That's possible Richard.

It's also possible however that the majority of competitors at World Cups ensure that their equipment (and technique) will pass any reasonable interpretation of the rules. I think we have all come across shooters at lower levels who seem intent on challenging every slightly vague rule and pushing the interpretation to, and sometimes beyond, the limit.

Agree to a point, but what I talking about are the same athletes and equipment that went through WC equipment control with no problem.
