Having made the change from my trusty 11 year old LP1 to the LP10E, I can only provide a comparison of those two triggers, as although I have borrowed and fired an LP10, it was not a real comparison.
I was of the opinion that the LP1 trigger was pretty good for a mechanical trigger but when you start to get used to the LP10E, the trigger is superb and smooth.
The impression that I get is that I need to only try to "think" my trigger finger "thicker" and the shot is gone. Superbly consistant every time.
Have my scores improved, not really but I am sure that the huge confidence boost that has become aparent with the LP10E will soon start to help me to improve my trigger control.
I agree with the other comments, if you have an LP10, then possibly the investment in an LP10E at the moment could be hard to justify, but if you are able to afford it, then the "E" is probably the way to go.
