Ron, Nite,

Thank you for your helpful advice. It took me a few days to respond here, not because I was not struck by your ideas, but because the subject is just so vast, and that I have so far ignored it in favor of a purely technical focus.

To do what you want when you want. To manipulate your own thought proccess in order to produce a mentality which will permit you to produce a ten at a moment not of your choosing and regardless of personal circumstances and distraction.

This is self-mastery and it goes far beyond shooting. In normal life, we all do what we can to pull ourselves together and face all sorts of challenges. We obviously have the innate ability to do this. On the other hand, normal people do not deliberately work at rationally controlling these aspects of mind and behavior. I really am at a loss for what to say or where to start.

However, I have seen the light. The higher scores are clearly to be found in this area.

thanks,

gordon

Ed,

Your happy place is a very interesting concept. I will invest some energy in exploring it. Thanks.
