Howdy, If anyone gets a chance, could you weigh the "slide"? I have an older model of CM22, before Morini cut the angle off of the rear of the slide. I have problems getting softer ammo to cycle. I have removed the internal spring adjuster to make it cycle easier, yet it still will only function hotter ammo. I suspect my slide is too heavy? I was contemplating milling some weight off in a similar fashion to the factory? Thank you kindly, Dwaine Hurt

Reinhamre, Your "dream" pistol, does it have the alloy or steel upper? My CM22 has alloy frame with steel upper, and it is pretty heavy. I am trying to imagine what the weight would feel like if mine also had a steel frame? I guess the weight would be balanced rearward. The CM22 certainly has a nice recoil characteristic for rapid fire, very low and straight back. Thanks, Dwaine
