Hi, I have a GT45 with 6inch barrel. I have shot about 4000 rounds through it and I cant find a fault with it. It's well built, trigger is the best I've felt for years, smooth, crisp, light let off. I use 200 grn swc cast heads with 4.2 grn of bullseye behind them and can quite easily shoot the middle of the target out all day long. A GOOD INVESTMENT !!!!!!

I too am again considering one of these again. Bought a HK USP Elite last time this was a contender. The wide grip kinda concerns me. Just how wide is it? I'm more or less wanting one as something different yet quality. Have intentions to shoot the informal plate matches at the club but... Being only a 10 minute drive from Larry's shop helps I guess. His hours don't really coincie with mine so I'll have to hope he's open on a Presidents day. With the favorable reviews here, it may be a purchasing visit if they're in stock.

About the "wide grip:"

The gripframe is about what you'd find on a gun made for a double-stack magazine. I don't have big hands (RH Medium grips on most of my guns.), and, initially, used skateboard tape in place of the wood panels that come stock.

I then saw that Rink was making an orthopedic grip for the GT 45, and bought one.

It's fabulous. Fits my hand like a glove.
