Trouble with foresifgt iris
Hello everyone!
I just got on my hands my new adjustable foresight iris.
I try to screw it all the way in the foresight but it refuses. There is about 3mm of threads that hasn't enter yet,and there space in the fore sight.
What must I do?I applyied a bit of oil/teflon and WD40 but it screws in until the last 3mm.Dhould I force it more(I wouldn't like to damage it)
Any suggestions?

There should be a locking screw coller on the foresight thread, this is to line up the indicator mark on the adjustable foresight so it is at the top of the foresight. Is the coller on the one you have, this coller is about 2mm thick, if it's missing that maybe why you can still see the thread even when it's screwed in. Colin
Well we can discount that one then. the threads are very fine so I would have a look with a magnifying glass at the variable foresight and on the tunnel itself to see if any dirt etc is on them and give both a clean anyway. I had simular problem with one on my centra high end elements, it went very tight towards the end and I had trouble unscrewing it back out. Cleaned both the threads and it was fine. Colin
