Air Rifle Trigger Weight

Post by Misny »

Our club matches follow NRA rules. I don't see any mention of a minimum trigger weight for 10 meter air rifle matches in the rule book. Did I miss something?

(It's good that you check .... many shooters don't bother)

For the most part NRA Precision Air Rifle & USAS/ISSF are the same.
(No you didn't miss anything ... not specified)
Some (minor) differences:

1) In NRA comps the offhand stand can be above your shoulder
2) In USAS comps you also need to remove the handstop & sling attachment(s) in standing.

Now in sporter ... that's where the fun begins .....

Thanks jhmartin. When I look at the online version of the rulebook, it is easy for me to overlook something. That puts my mind at rest.
