I spoke to the current CRPA pistol rep,who would like to have a state championship in FP,standard ,and air. would anyone interested please indicate by reply here or email,...He said we need 10 in a classification for it to happen .Apparently, there has not been a state champion for some time !!Perhaps we could start an interest list with contacts,so we can be kept current. Any ideas , comments, experiences ,etc ,feel free to
contribute. If the timing was right,we could also get a contingent from Arizona.

We held the California State Air Pistol Championships at the Palo Alto Rod & Gun Club in January of this year. To my knowledge, this was the first time that the state air pistol championships had been held in several years. See viewtopic.php?t=16919
I don't know of a state championship being held in free or standard. Sounds like a great idea!

If you are referring to the Prado Olympic Shooting range, we meet there every Sunday morning on the first weekend of every month and shoot an AP pistol match.SpudGun wrote:I would love an opportunity to get back into the life. I am in San Diego, so the trip up to the redwoods would be a stretch...is there anything happening at the old chino shooting area??
