What do most people use today for 50 meter and Gallery? Adjustable Iris I would guess. But what size of Front Sight, 18 or 22 mm and what type of Front Iris? The cross bars or no bars or what. THANKS, Nailman
For my 50M smallbore I use 22mm (the size that came with my feinwerkbau) with a Gehmann adjustable front iris without and bars, and a gehmann M22 foresight level. Seems to work fine for me.
I use bars to help watch my cant, and run the smaller front sight because its what I had. There's no reason to run the smaller front though, and I even use the expanded ring on the outside of the iris to take up more space to make for easier centering in the rear sight.
I've been trying out an extension tube for the last year, and have a 22M Centra Score tunnel with built in bars, and a range of Centra High End inserts
