Toz 35 grip size

Post by lyin116 »

Hi,

I am ordering a toz 35 online. I am wondering what grip size I need. For Pardini SP, the medium size fits me fine. However, for the Hammerli sp20, I need the large size? Do you know what size I should get?

Also, since this is a free pistol, is it better to get smaller or larger size for later modification?

Thanks!

TOZ 35 Grip

Post by K38 »

I use a modified Pardini medium grips on my SP and K58 AP. Don Nygord worked on them for me one fine afternoon. I have a Rink Grip on my TOZ from Larry's I needed an XL for my pudgy mitts. The Rinks are very adjustable and good quality. You can of course send a drawing of your hand to any grip maker, but I would err on the side of bigger. (I'll probably get my ears pinned back for that!)

Thank you for the reply.

Actually, I usually err on the large side too, as I can always grind down. On the other hand, I was thinking that since this is free pistol, the wrap part would be too far from the hand if it is too large. Is that the case?

Thanks!

TOZ Grips

Post by shadow »

If I had it to do all over again (I bought my TOZ 1 year ago) I would buy it without grips and buy a pair of Rink grips. The Rinks allow me to get my hand in much further giving me more finger on the trigger. My hand size was between small and extra small and I bought XS.
