IZH 46M Grip modification

Post by Guest »

Hey all just wondering what would be the best tool to add some texture to the grips on my pistol....
I was considering using a rasp to get rid of the very smooth finish on the IZH grip..
Just wondering if someone had a recommendation to get a rougher but uniform finish on this grip..
Thanx

Use a Dremel or equivalent tool with a small round burr (I think the one I use is a Dremel #107). Do a little practice on a scrap piece of wood. I guarantee you it's not hard and with a little practice it may even look like a factory finish.
