Muzzle Brakes for older APs

Post by 510GBU »

Hello,

Apologize if this is a foolish question, but are there any muzzle brakes that can be added to an older AP, specifically FWB 100 or 102?

If so, then the next question - is it "worth" adding a muzzle brake to those pistols?

Never was into pistols, but after shooting our club AP (FWB c55) for several years I got the bug!

Thanks in advance.

muzzle brakes

barry:

Pre Charged Pistols needs muzzle brakes because the volume of propellant is big and the turbulence after the pellet leave the barrel is significant.

The pneumatic pistols have a very minor air volume, dont need a muzzle brakes, if you put one for example in a IZH46M, maybe the pistol dont fit in the meassurement box of the ISSF, and turns ilegal for official match shooting.
