Shooting clothing

Post by Guest »

I'm getting back into shooting after about 15 years and I'm looking to get into some ISSF 3-Position matches. I need to purchase a new jacket and pants. I was wondering what most people wear under their shooting clothing? Do most people wear shooting underwear and sweatshirts? Does the ISSF have restrictions on what is worn under jackets? I'm assuming that I should get the under garments first so that I can be measured accurately for the jacket. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Getting the under garments first is correct if you want the outer wear to fit. Expensive mistake if it doesn't.

Get snug close fitting stuff thats real comfy, you'll not regret it.

Specialist underclothing is expensive but better than just a tight fitting sweatshirt / sports top

I use under armor pants and shirts and I also use a shooting sweater over the shirts. It costs alot but in my mind it was worth it.
