Morini CM84E firing pin question

When I got my Morini free, I accidentally dry fired with the lever up and breach open once. I heard a pop and realized that was bad. But after inspection I don’t think there was anything wrong. Can anyone tell me if I damaged my gun by doing that?

OOOOH WOW Jay, I think it is completly ruined!!!! Just kidding, I did the same thing to mine, and it still works. There is another post near by showing what can happen, looks like I will avoid doing it again. Good luck with the new pistol. See you at 3X. Dwaine.
