dry fire rohm twinmaster?

Post by bubba_zenetti »

it would seem my pistol has no provisions for safe dry firing as some models do. so my question is; what sort of damage is done by dry firing an air pistol (prechaged design?)

Bubba,

Which model do you have? On some models there is a provision for dry fire by using the safety. And if yours conforms to the general Twinmaster pattern of exposed hammer, you could probably figure out a way to block the hammer fall so it doesn't hit the striker.

I'm not familiar with that model, but most of their models have a removable hammer cover. It should just pull off straight up, exposing the hammer. If yours does not have that, or a safety, then I'm afraid I can't help. What about asking at the place where you purchased it?
