Valiant XS40

Just posted a blog on the whole tale of the rifle; a lot of coaches and shooters will be interested I'm sure.

Very good history of the rifle Warren.

One point to change (or maybe I'm behind the times), the new stock for the 888 *887) is not adjustable ... it is basically a 753 dimensioned stock for the 888. Daisy was at the coaches conference in October and showed it off.

A bunch of us have "pre-ordered" the stocks, but Daisy (wisely) will not ship them until the committee approves the new rifle.

After talking with Daisy I thought the new stock had adjustable butt plate - at least for length, that was easier than the old spacer system. I know it won't have an adjustable cheek piece.

I believe it is just like the 753/853/888 stocks .... spacers.
