Staying in your own lane

atomicarh's post brought to mind that one should avoid always using the same lane. It is easy to get into such a rut and have the feeling that one lane is better than another. Baring some physical problem such as lighting or air flow try to use a different lane each time. This allows you to shoot well no matter what lane is assigned.

I have seen shooters do poorly just because they were not assigned their favorite lane. That becomes a crutch that is unnecessary to being an overall good shooter.

Nicole, as a pistol shooter you know the ultimate distraction is hot brass landing on exposed skin. Some shooters are not very considerate of those next to them, try another lane, let him annoy someone else.
