LP2 Dry Fire

Hi
Ive just got a LP2 and can't seem to get it to dry fire. Im doing what the instructions state but nothing happens. If I pull the lever any further it sets the hammer spring and fires with air.

Any clues on whats happening or what Im not doing?

I'm guessing it'll be the same as an LP10.
Pull the lever right back to cock trigger, then push lever forward/down untill a resistance is felt about 1/4 inch from fully down. Stop there and try that.
