i am building a silent pellet trap is the puddy mentioned in various treads
as ballistic puddy,duct seal are the all the same as plumbers puddy or am i way off base.

Plumbers putty is what I use it was white originally.

Called duct seal in some parts of the USA I think and also grey.

Go to the pumbing or hardware store and ask for plumbers putty that doesn't go hard and act dumb.
