What tools do you take to a match ?

Post by cdf »

What tools do you gents keep on hand when you go to matches ? Personally I have an assortment of screw drivers , hex keys , cleaning pellets , a plastic knitting needle , and a leatherman tool with a bit adapter . All my guns are Styers , with a Morini thrown in for good measure .

Has our gracious host ever considered marketing spares kits for the better known/ more popular guns ? I for one would certainly buy such kits for my various guns if they were available .

well i only take the screwdriver incase my gun is knoked somehow and goes out of sight and 2 alan keys and a star key i only take the essentials (this includes adaptor pieces and cylinder drainers). i dont see the need in cleaning pellets what i do is sort everything out the day before ready to shoot the next day so theres no troubles that will affect my match on the day. also they probably do do spares kits but i dont know where they could be handy though may look into one ill keep you updated if i find one
