One shooter of my club, want to increase the velocity of the pelets in his Hammerli 480K air pistol.
Looking in the manuals, these activity is not descripted.
In the rear of the gun, taking out the grip, have two screws, ¿do I have to loose one to tight the other?
Please help,

Thank you,

Nano,
the two overlapping screws in the back of the frame allow you to remove the firing pin/spring from the gun.
the velocity is not adjustable. The older pistols had a low pressure pin on the frame in front of the trigger. The later versions replaced the pin with a bolt with 2 holes. This is where you would be able to adjust the velocity if you had the Hammerli tool. If your version has the pin it is not adjustable at all. The factory sets the velocity at 145 meters/second, or around 480 feet/second.

Walter:

Thank you very much.
The pistol have the two hole bolt.
I live in Bolivia, south america, here we are at 3600 meters above the sea level (11,000 feets), here the guns have a decrease in his performance, the velocity are under you put in the sea level, all the machines have -30% in his performance, included cars.

Your post is very useful to me,

Thank you again,
