deviation value in pellets

To the forum:

when seeing in back of a top brand pellet can, there are two labels, in one says the exact caliber (e.g. 4,49 mm) and in the other one says the deviation, that is the deviation of the average of the pelets, measured in laboratory.
Consulting with the experts, we should look for this value were smallest possible, I have seen values of 0,03 as well as 0.18 consider that there is a good difference.
I shoot 560 in competitions, the question is if this value is important in the range in the one that I shoot.

Nanozamora, from other postings I have read it is more important that the pellets you shoot work well in your gun than to worry about deviations from the factory. I suppose as you say that you do want a small number. This means to me that the factory cares, and wants to keep their swages in tight tolerance. That being said if you search the archives you will find much discussion on pellets and brands Ect. From the resident experts I deduce that it is more important to work on my form and technique. Oh yeah and make sure your sights are not loose.
