Lapua OSP25 –v- RWS R250

Post by PaulT »

Has any completed any tests with either of these brands of .22lr ammunition for the new ISSF rapid or ISSF standard pistol.

I would be interested to know any results with either using the new Pardini pistol. Due to limited overseas training opportunities, my interest is mainly standard pistol but curious with regard to ISSF rapid.

I have tested the RWS product, and found it to work quite well in my Pardini SP, I tested it in my free pistol and found it to produce excllent groups, sub 22mm @ 50m.

Hope that helps.

Post by David M »

Some testing with a Morini CM22 and a Tesro 22, with various ammo's.

Tried the RWS Super in both pistols, it failed the velocity test in the Tesro, OK in the Morini (the Tesro has a shorter barrel than the Walther).
Nice and soft to shoot.

RWS Super 50 - Tesro max 245, min 220, av. 230,
- Morini max 266, min 259, av. 261

RWS Pistol Match -Tesro max 288, min 262, av. 277,
- Morini max 303, min 288, av. 294

SK Std Plus -Tesro max 272, min 264, av. 268,
- Morini max 292, min 274, av. 287
