IZH35 in Australia

Post by James Hurr »

Does anyone know of a supplier for IZH35s in Aus?
I'd be interested to have one for the collection.

See if you can find out who is importing Baikal shotguns and rifles and ask them. Highland Sports used to be the importer and distributor of Baikal products into Australia, but there is now no mention of it on their website, they may have dropped them http://www.highlandsports.com.au

Victorian Arms seem to carry a bit of Baikal stuff, so you could try them. The importing and distribution branch of Victorian Arms goes under the name of Parabellum Imports, so see if they can shed some light.

If you can be bothered with the bureaucracy (annoying, but not insurmountable) you could try looking across the ditch (NZ). Reloaders Supplies have been bringing in Baikal stuff for ages (including the IZH35m). Go to http://www.reloaders.co.nz/catalogue.html and download the "rifle and pistols" section where you'll see the IZH35m along with its baby brother - the Margolin (a brilliant training pistol with which I learned how to shoot ISSF pistol).
