Balance Training

Post by rcharliea »

I am looking for wobble boards. Don't laugh, page 103 in Ways of the Rifle has a pair of wobble boards for balance training. However, I can't find anything like them at any gun shop, help. Any ideas or places to look.
Thanks in advance.

I've thought about making a pair, never imagining that there would be enough of a market for commercial production. Seems like a few pieces of 1 X 4 and a belt sander or wood plane would be all it would take.

You should try looking in a sports or gym suppliers store as that's where they are most frequently used. Failing that look for medical accesories as they are also used by physiotherapists.

Yup . . . physio's and sports trainers will be the one's to help you. Also ask about "Swiss balls". They're large strong air filled balls (70cm+ diameter) which one can stand / sit / lie on during training routines. Very popular for "core stability" training.
