When is the time to rebuild my FWB 603?

Post by Paco »

I have had this FWB 603 since 1995 or 1996 something like that. Ever since then, The shooting was on and off due to work load and overseas assignment.

The rifle holds group nicely and there is nothing to complain about so far. I have never lube it neither wipe it or any form of tender loving care since the day I got it new.

Would you guys recommend me where to look for and when I should have it rebuild or tune-up?

Thank you.

If you want to be numeric about it, pump it up and quickly chronograph it. Then pump it up, let it sit for a short while, then chronograph it again. If waiting causes the velocity to drop off greatly, you have a slow leak and it is time for a rebuild.
