Jacket Question

I was just wondering what the overlap rules are for the jackets in USA Shooting (international air) competitions. Like, when you go through equipment control, and they check the overlap and the buttons...what is the max overlap measurements you can have and how far can the buttons be from the edge of the jacket? Thanks
