Dry firing an MU55 free pistol

Post by race1911 »

Does anyone know if an MU55 is capable of dry firing without hurting anything or are there certain precautions that must be taken?

To "RUIG":

Please tell if I am wrong or not.

I owned a MC-55 free pistol from 1974 to 1980. I recon the model designation was MC-55, stamped to the frame.

What is correct, in western world letters?

The MU55 or some people see the Russian symbol as a V which is pronounced something like thsay, closely sounding like an English "C", thus it has also been called MC55............thus MU55, MV55 and MC55 are all one and the same gun
