Hi David,
I ended up using my sport pistol as the weather was just too muggy for the slippery rubber grip on the revolver. Unfortunately I only shot 551 with that.

k38 for CF
I too am curious about your results in the selection match and your comparison of the FAS 603 vs. the K-38.
My best CF scores were with the Walther (580s) and am presently trying to switch from auto to K-38 to prepare for the Reeves match and Dist. revolver matches. I'm not getting close to my walther SF scores and haven't been outdoors to test long range accuracy for loads. Trigger adjustments can be made to the rebound spring and cleaning up vertical surfaces with a stone. DON'T TOUCH THE HAMMER OR SEAR ENGAGEMENTS,unless you can see, with a magnifying glass any burrs. Even then - very light touch. Only a light pass or two, not more.
I would guess that, even though the revolver is no handicap in the duel stage, you will likely go back to the auto for the familiar feel.
PS. Got a K-32 and am looking forward to see how that compares to the Walter.
