daisy 717 mod

Post by scout18 »

From a link posted in the another thread I ran into the 717 modification page for an adjustable trigger on a daisy. I followed the instructions and low and behold it worked great. Thank you Mr. Nygord for the great write up. This gun is going to my niece to shoot in her pony club competions, and a lighter trigger will make it much more agreeable to shoot. Has any one else done this? Does any one have any Dsisy 717s they wish to sell?

I have done some of the work Mr. Nygord (he was a real nice gentleman) suggested and have found that after the work the 717 shoots as good a scores as the 747. Either is a good gun for getting into the game on a budget. If one is not shooting 9 rings or better with these Daisy's it is not the fault of the gun.
