Anschutz Air Rifle PUMP Maintenance

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone had any advice as to maintenance tips for an Anschutz air rifle pump. It's been standing a while (3 years) but am now using it again. Should I be lubricating the shaft with oil or WD40? Are there seals or such like that should be replaced?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi Richard,

It is not adviced to use petroleum based oils or greases in high
presure devices.

For the pump you should use silicon grease. If it is working properly, just clean the shaft and apply a light coat of silicon grease.
