I'm looking for the date of manufacture for an Anschutz 1813, ser # 1830XX.
I e-mailed Anschutz a while ago... haven't had a reply. Anyone know?
Thanks in advance, (and Happy Thanksgiving to all us Yanks!)

Anschutz stamps a date code on the back end of the barrel near the action. On RH guns it is on the left side, not sure about LH guns. The old guns the stamping was simply the last two digits of the date of mfr. I guess that was too easy. Now they stamp it as follows: A=0, B=1, C=2, D=3, E=4, F=5, G=6, H=7, I=8, K=9 (note J is skipped). So, for instance, my 1907 is stamped "AB" which is 01 or 2001 mfr.
