I think many will tell you that both are quality guns, and it will depend on what features you are actually looking for in a rifle. Since I don't have any experiences with either, l can't give you my opinion. Good luck!

I wish I could offer some advice as to which is the best but I cant.

You could always just buy both of them and whichever one you dont like I'll buy from you for 50% or retail.

I use a p700 and love it! I previously use the p70 n the p700 offers the same reliability. There is also virtually no recoil. Another cool thing of the p700 is the dry-fire switch(at last! its rather troublesome with the p70). I personally prefer feinwerkbau rifles. As for the 9003, i haf no doubt that it is just as good a rifle. However, with that price tag, i could buy other equipment. Thus i would go for the p700.

I got a p700 this year and in the last 6 months or so my scores have gone from a 565 average to a 580 with really not too much increase in practice. Its a great gun.

FWB have probably won more medals than other brands The Anshutz 9003 seems to give all shooters all things, but a feel they have gone over the top with 'too' much adjustment and it is also the most expensive, but not necessarily the best. I recon the best air rifle on the market for performance and price is the Steyr LG100 followed closely by the FWB 700
FWB are also very easy to service and i prefer to load a pellet with my fingers rather than by a loading probe.[/b]

well really i have always been a anschutz fan myself and its because of all of the adjustments that you have at your fingertips. and as far as a rifle brand bringing up your score forget it your kidding yourself that is just a mind game that you played with yourself it takes practice not buying a new rifle. i have had a pneumatic 2002 anschutz rifle for over three years now and shoot very well with it my average is a 590/600 and then recently i wanted the 9003 i still shoot the same but i like the feel of the rifle better it has a lot of adjustments for weight and check and butt plate adjustment. i like my rilfes to have the weigh centered more so than barrel or butt heavy with the 9003 its pretty easy to get a balanced rifle.......again im sure that they p700 is fine but i still will stick with what i know and have tried. if i was in your shoes i would try and find people with both and ask to shoot them for a bit im sure they would let you and then make your decision but dont do it by points do it by how the rifle feels and the adjustments that you can make or want to make
