air pistol shooting on Long Island ?

i have just moved to the long island area and looking for a place to shoot air pistol. does anyone know if there is any indoor areas for this??

Remember that the American nomenclature is highly original: besides the Long Island, NY and Long Island, CA there is at least half a dozen of other "long island"s in the US.

The best bet would be to arm yourself with a phone and head over to http://www.wheretoshoot.org/

Visit www.roslynclub.com. My family have been members for years. It should give you who to call about membership. The club is in Westbury and the outdoor range is out east in Calverton.

Another place to try is the Freeport R&R Club. We have an active air pistol program, and compete in the NY International Pistol Postal league. Of course, Roslyn has a team, as does a club in Southampton.

Of course, if this isn't about Long Island, New York, then you're still on your own :-)
